VIETNAMESE STANDARD TCVN2737:1995 2nd Revision Loads and Actions-Design Code 1.Scope 1.1.This code specifies loads and actions to be used in designing building constructions and foundations. 1.2.The following loads are not prescribed in this code but shall be subject to particular regulations loads caused by railways and roads.by seawaves and currents by earthquake by storms and whirlwinds by temperature by dynamic ponents of manufacturing equipment and transport means etc. 1.3.Design loads when repairing structures are to be determined on the basis of actual investigation of the structure. 1.4.Atmospheric actions are to taken from Construction design meteorological data or by the data from National Hydrometeorological Service. 1.5.Loads for extremely important buildings are not prescribed in this code but to be determined by relevant authority. 1.6.Loads for specific buildings and structures (transport water works electricity post and telemunications etc)are to be dealt in special regulations elaborated by relevant organizations 2.Basic principles 2.1.General provisions 2.1.1.A building or structure must be so designed to take into account loads that are generated during the construction service and use and in manufacturing storage and transport of their ponents. 2.1.2.The standard values of loads given in this code are the basic characteristics of loads.
