1范围
本标准规定了关于消防系统的设计、检验与维护及使事故失火的可能性减至最小的推荐作法。它强调需要对人员进行消防训练，进行定期演习，并制订安全选生方法和程序。本标准讨论的消防系统意在对初期火情做出及早反应，以防其蔓延。然而，此讨论无意排除使用更广泛的作法以适应特殊情况，甚至用其他等效或更高层次的保护系统来代替。
