As an effective speedy continuous and nondestructive testing equipment the study on application of Ground Penetrating Radar GPR)in pavement has been popular all over the world since 1990s.The precondition of GPR application is the difference of dielectric properties of roadbed material using dielectric properties of mixture and the correlation of its solid state liquid state and gas state and then based on the dielectric properties of material for pavement layers GPR nondestructive testing technique is used in paction quality inspection of asphalt pavement the application field and scope of GPR nondestructive testing technique is widened.
