Xiamen Fujian 361000 China; 2.Qinghai Province Branch of China Development Bank Xining Qinghai 810000 China; 3.College of Civil Engineering Chongging University Chongqing 400045 China) Abstract:Pile lateral grouting is a technique for effectively improve the bearing capacity and reduce the settlement of pile foundation.Pile lateral grouting technology is adopted for all the thirty three uplift piles in Yishan Commercial Center project in Xiamen to treat plex geological conditions and low bearing capacity of grounds.Based on actual project the characteristics working principle construction technology and quality control of pile lateral grouting are introduced.The results of anti-uplifting test show that the bearing capacity of piles can be obviously improved and good economical benefits can be gained.
