Ld.Shanghai 200441 China) Abstract:The HATS Stage 2A project mainly includes building main pumping station with inner diameter of 55m and depth of 40m in Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works and building a line of interconnection tunnel with diameter of 4m depth of 30m and length of 260m which links the new main pumping station and the existing pumping station.The diaphragm wall is about 60m in depth.Because the Stonecutters Island is formed by reelamation and the depth of the back fill layer is about 20m so the geological condition is very plex.During construction of diaphragm wall some advanced equipments such as hydraulic bucket heavy hammer and hydraulic double wheel trench cutter are used to overe the slot difficulty.During excavation the slot has serious deviation from its correct location then backfilled with soil and is excavated again which attains good effect.The authors mainly introduce construction technology ...
