The former national standard GB/T 50109-2006 Design code for softening and demineralization of industrial water shall be abolished simultaneously. Authorized by the Research Institute of Standards and Norms of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China this code is published and distributed by China Planning Press. Foreword This code is revised from the former national standard GB/T 50109-2006 Design code for softening and demineralization of industrial water by Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co. Ltd. (NWEPDI) of China Power Engineering Consulting Group jointly with organizations concermed in accordance with the requirements of Document JIANBIAO [2012] No.5 issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China - Notice on printing and distributing the development and This code prises 6 clauses and 2 annexes with the main technical contents as follows: general provisions terms water treatment station softening and demineralization storage and metering of chemicals control and instruments etc. This code is technically revised as follows: 1. The content related to electrodialysis is deleted; 2. The content related to energy and water conservation and emission reduction is added 3. The content related to nanofitration is added; 4. The content related to membrane dosing system and cleaning system is added; 5. The content of instruments and control is added and revised. routine management and Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co. Ltd. (NWEPDI) technical contents. During the process of implementing this code all relevant organizations are kindly requested to sum up experience carefully in bination with engineering practice and feed back the relevant opinions and suggestions for modification or supplement when necessary to Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co.
