AnnouncementoftheMinistryofHousingand Urban-RuralDevelopment of thePeople'sRepublic of China No.1359 Announcement on Publishing the National Standard "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Earthwork and Blasting Engineering "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Earthwork and Blasting Engineering" has been approved as a national standard with a serial number of GB 50201-2012 and shall be implemented as of August 1 2012. Articles 4.1.8 4.5.4 5.1.12 5.2.10 and 5.4.8 are pulsory provisions and must be enforced strictly. The former national standard "Specifications for construction and acceptance of carthwork and cxplosion engincering" (GBJ 201-83) shall be abolished simultaneously. Authorized by the Standard Rating Research Institute of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China this code is published by China Architecture and Building Press. Foreword This code was revised by China Huashi Enterprises Company Limited and Sichuan the basis of the former national standard “Specifications for Construction and Acceptance of o s o pe ) sxpe Document Jian Biao [2009] No.89 issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development - Notice on Printing the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards in 2009". During the process of formulating this code the drafing group conducted in-depth investigation summarized a great deal of domestic and foreign theoretical study and practical experience in recent years extensively solicited for opinions and finalized this code through review. This code prises 5 clauses and 2 annexes and main technical contents cover general provisions terms basic requirements carthwork and blasting engineering. Provisions printed in bold type in this code are pulsory and must be enforced strictly. Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development is in charge of the administration of this standard and the explanation of the pulsory provisions; China Huashi Enterprises Company Limited is responsible for the explanation of specific technical contents. All relevant organizations are remended to implement this code based on specific engineering practices.
